Terms
and Conditions
1. Appointment Scheduling
All appointments must be scheduled in advance through our online platform, phone, or email. A confirmation message or email will be sent to finalize each booking.
2. Cancellation and Rescheduling Policy
Appointments must be canceled or rescheduled at least 48 hours in advance to avoid charges. Late cancellations may incur a fee.
3. Our Arrival
Considering we are mobile and travel from client to client, the time provided for your appointment is an estimate. While we do our best to arrive exactly on time — and we usually do — factors such as traffic or delays from previous appointments may affect arrival times. Please expect us to be slightly early or late, and we will inform you in advance of any schedule changes.
4. Safety and Behavior
We reserve the right to refuse service to dogs showing signs of aggression or extreme anxiety. Owners must disclose any history of aggression or behavioral issues before booking, to ensure the safety of both your pet and our groomers.
5. Health and Vaccinations
All dogs must be up-to-date on vaccinations, including rabies, distemper, and parvovirus. Dogs showing signs of illness, such as vomiting, diarrhea, or contagious skin conditions, will not be groomed for their safety and the safety of others.
6. Fleas and Ticks
Owners must ensure their dogs are treated with flea and tick prevention prior to appointments. If fleas or ticks are discovered during grooming, a flea treatment will be applied at an additional cost, along with an extra shampoo wash to ensure full cleanliness.
7. Grooming Limitations
Grooming is not a substitute for veterinary care. In cases of matting, our groomers may need to shave down affected areas to avoid pain or injury. Severe matting may incur an additional charge due to the extra time and care required.
8. Risk of Injury
Grooming, particularly for dogs with matted coats, carries some inherent risks, including possible cuts, nicks, scratches, or skin irritation. While we take every precaution to ensure your pet’s safety, these risks cannot be completely eliminated.
9. Professional Judgment
Our groomers use their professional discretion to determine the safest and most appropriate grooming techniques for your dog. This may include trimming or shaving matted areas close to the skin when necessary, always prioritizing your pet’s comfort and well-being.
10. Payment Terms
Full payment is due upon completion of the service. We accept both cash and card payments.
11. Parking and Access Requirements
Customers must provide a suitable parking space for our grooming van during the appointment. Access to a power outlet is required, and we provide a long extension cable to ensure connectivity.
12. Weather and Vehicle Issues
In the event of severe weather or mechanical problems, we reserve the right to reschedule appointments. Customers will be notified as soon as possible in such cases.
13. Privacy and Personal Information
All customer information is kept strictly confidential and used solely for booking and service-related communication.
14. Liability
While every precaution is taken to ensure your dog’s safety, MoonPet Mobile Dog Grooming cannot be held responsible for pre-existing conditions, allergic reactions, or unforeseen health issues that may arise during or after grooming. In the event of an emergency, we will seek immediate veterinary care at the owner’s expense.
15. Photo Consent
We may take before-and-after photos of your dog for promotional purposes. If you prefer not to have your pet’s photo used, please inform us before the grooming appointment.
16. Changes to Terms
These terms and conditions are subject to change, and customers will be informed of any updates before their next appointment.
